"Get Your Assets Into Gold" by Howard Katz

‘Tis end of year, 2008.
With history we had a date.
The New York Times, I do expound,
Put all financial markets down.

And Ben Bernanke’s very slow.
He’s in the back room printing dough.
I’m asking in my little rhyme,
“How come that this is not a crime?”

He’s printing dough, who knows what for?
He keeps on printing more and more.
I’d like to say, not being brash,
To get your assets out of cash.

They rob from poor to give to rich.
So do not listen to their pitch.
And when they say, “deflation, ho,”
Be sure to answer with a “No.”

2002, I nailed it cold.
I said to you, “Get into gold.”
But clever is as clever does.
I just didn’t know how right I was.

Things are much worse than I foresaw.
So turn the page and learn some more.
A sad, sad story does unfold.
So get your assets into gold.

Puccini's "O mio babbino caro" from Gianni Schicchi

Italian:
O mio babbino caro
Mi piace è bello, bello
Vo' andare in Porta Rossa
a comperar l'anello!
Sì, sì, ci voglio andare!
e se l'amassi indarno,
andrei sul Ponte Vecchio,
ma per buttarmi in Arno!
Mi struggo e mi tormento!
O Dio, vorrei morir!
Babbo, pietà, pietà!
Babbo, pietà, pietà!

Traduction en français:
O mon cher papa
Il me plai, Il est beau, beau
Je veux aller à Porta Rossa
pour acheter la boucle !
Oui, oui, je veux aller la !
et si mon amour étaient en vain,
j'irais sur le Pont Vieux,
mais pour me jeter dans Arno !
Je me consume et je me tourmente
O Dieu, je voudrais mourir
Papa, pitié, pitié!
Papa, pitié, pitié!

Translation in English:
O my dear papa
I like him, he is handsome, handsome
I want to go to Porta Rossa
to buy the ring!
Yes, yes, I want to go there!
And if my love were in vain,
I would go to the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge)
and throw myself in the Arno!
I am aching, I am tortured!
Oh God, I'd like to die!
Father, have pity, have pity!
Father, have pity, have pity!

"They Are a Printing Dough" by Howard Katz

This is a tale, sad but true,
A subject understood by few.
Important to be in the know
Because they are a printing dough.

To anybody with a brain,
The country’s going quite insane.
Supply of money, speak of crimes,
Is multiplying by 3 times.

So quickly run up to your boss.
Cause you don’t want him to be cross.
And tell him that you want a raise.
Or else you’ll get a job that pays.

Cause country now is in the den
Of man named helicopter Ben.
He’s printing money, tell no lies,
And dropping dollars from the skies.

With dollars printing, it’s not right.
It’s time that we stood up to fight.
So hasten and stick out your cup.
Cause prices all are going up.

Now Ford, GM, they’ll get their share.
And Pres. Obama doesn’t care.
There’s one thing that I clearly see:
No bailout comes for you and me.

The above chart - which proves Mr. Katz assertion about the recent TRIPLING (!) of the supply of money - is from the very important analysis by Jim Willie,"Lawsuits, the Cadaver & Gold" published December 16, 2008. As are all of Mr. Willie's insightful writings; this is very, very recommended to understand the current, critical macro economic and political situation and how we can best help ourselves and those we care about through a deeper understanding of reality - however difficult. It can be found at http://www.kitco.com/ind/willie/dec162008.html

The above chart is from an article by Howard Katz, "Depression by any other Name" and also shows the alarming rate of currency expansion with all the inflation effects that implies. Please find the article at http://www.kitco.com/ind/katz/dec162008.html

Choosing Light of Love

Choosing Light of Love
by Loveson G. Flower

The Light of Love is parallel.
It's not enough to know where else
The Light does shine at the same time.
But might we find the Love does rhyme?

Life doesn't repeat. It's true.
But rhymes, it seems, our whole life through.
The patterns start when we are kids;
Like lanterns our hearts shine within.

They know the wounds that need to heal
And show us goons that bleed and steal.
Whom we do choose to make our path
To try to lose our fear-filled wrath.

Divorces. Abandonment.
The wars to bless by wisdom sent.
To make outside by the drama
What is inside. Cry for mama.

Who must leave eventually.
Too soon? Let go of every
Judgement and pain of inner child
That does send again winter foul.

We re-create over again
All of the hate that love knew then.
Trying to make it better now.
I'll try to change cruel fate somehow.

But rhyming patterns do evoke
The same life tattered chains that choke.
The wounded inner child does see
New wounds bled then unconsciously.

Until decision not to try
Does kill the vision of Love high.
A self-fulfilling prophecy
Decides "To Be or not to Be."

How to Let Go of all that pain,
And let Love grow healthy again?
Don't give up. Express it all.
Show the Love. Confess. Then call
To hold real Lovers who love Paul
And grow Love feelings: break the walls.
There’s Love within forsaken halls.

by Loveson G. Flower
November 30, 2008

This video is the choosing, introduction / welcome / menu page of "Light of Love," a ≈100-minute DVD collection of "moving" pictures / stories / movements from "a ballet of Love becoming." "Light of Love" was created in about one year to understand and express profound personal truths after a wrenching, relationship-death trauma in 2004.

The intro, choosing page is an infinite loop with 4 variations of the same beautiful song, "Caresse Sur L'océan (Caress by the Ocean)" from Bruno Coulais' "Les Choristes (The Chorists)." Four is the magic, symbolic number for wholeness -- like the 4 dimensions and the 4 seasons. The final variation is of a young boy's beautiful and stirring singing.

The moving, living "Light of Love" is made up of all the colors of the rainbow. It dances and cycles through time from faint to strong and back again, never ending. The 8 different chapters (representing different aspects, epochs, feelings, understandings, sub-parts, stories, etc.) play over and over in their own sub-universes as do our various patterns. The greater Light, represented by the grand, pulsing rainbow; is behind and above our "Light of Love" and seems to pulsate like a universal, living heart-beat. The "Light of Love" seems to be moving towards the greater Light as perhaps an artistic attempt with but limited, human tools to describe an after-death experience, or a Spiritual reality with animated movement, changing colors and shadows, and evocative experience.

How can one express such profound ideas with but "moving" metaphors and "whole" experiences? The "Light of Love" expressions seemed to create themselves. They were not planned, and are perhaps but attempts to express deep personal and Spiritual truths using music, colors, animation, and dance; but with very few words.

The starring character is Gabrielle, perhaps representing our inner feminine who expresses herself with feelings and emotion without words. Other characters include: the "Light of Love" itself, Loveson who sometimes dances with Gabrielle, and moving photos of many friends and family. Loveson, our inner masculine, expresses thinking and analyses most often with language, symbols and (sometimes too many?) words. Thus, the reason for the Heart Song discipline: "Keep the Mind to the rhyme. Let the Heart do its part. So beyond either mode, the Soul shows the road."

Our "nom de bloom," Loveson G. (Gabrielle) Flower, has thus in our anonymous name the different, inner aspects married as another motivating metaphor to better express and become Wholeness / Unity. Wholeness is the overriding hope and goal of Mind-Body-Heart Art.

Jeremy Taylor, the great teacher of Dream Work and author of many books about dreams, believes that every dream comes in the service of Health and Wholeness. Like many art pieces, the "Light of Love" is perhaps like a collection of dreams with similar goals and methods. In Dream Work, to find better Health and Wholeness, one must search for, find and then follow what is the meaning and message the Dream Maker sends.

Overall, "Light of Love" tries to express with artistic, multimedia tools; symbols and experiences about the longing for, hope for, deep pain about, and vision of - Love and its Light - in its many dimensions, changing seasons, complete and incomplete understandings and misunderstandings, and so much more.

Let Me Fall (from Cirque de Soleil)

This Youtube video of Cirque de Soleil's "Let Me Fall" is presented because it so artfully speaks to me of among life's greatest (and most difficult) lessons: to Let Go. To evolve, I must trust that the one I want and will become will catch the one that falls today. To become, I must find the courage to let go the "useless fears and chains." For wholeness, I must not miss "this one chance, this perfect moment" to fall so to climb past the place where "fear and dreams must collide."

"Picture Now is Coming Clear" - by Howard Katz

The picture now is coming clear.
Establishment has caused great fear.
They shout and plead and do exhort
All of their legions to sell short.

It’s true. This story must be told.
They have increased the shorts in gold.
From contracts, thousands, twenty-four,
They’ve added 30 thousand more.

They’re shorting crude, as you can see:
Contracts, thousands, ninety-three.
That’s why the price of gas is down
To $2.13 west side of town.

So get your car and fill your tank.
And buy your gold coins from the bank.
With all your assets don’t be rash.
The word to go by: cash is trash.

Cause Ben Bernanke’s printing dough.
And this, to people in the know,
Confirms what you have oft been told.
Go put your money into gold.

To sellers short, the day will come.
We’ll have the sellers on the run.
When broker tells them, “margin please,
And don’t forget commission fees.”

How to be Right and Left Brained for Unity?

Left Brain v Right Brain Test

February 25, 2008 12:00am
from www.couriermail.com.au

IT'S the Great Right Brain vs Left Brain Test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Cerveau Gauche V Cerveau Droit

I'm Back in Gold by Howard Katz

We’re back in gold, but things are sad.
The whole darn country’s going mad.
Cause Henry Paulson, here’s the gist,
Keeps screaming, “There’s systemic risk.”

And twice a month, we now are told,
Here’s how the story does unfold.
That giant corp. named XYZ
Needs dough that comes from you and me.

Take company named Fannie Mae.
It had been privatized they say.
But all of us are on the hook.
5 trillion dollars they just took.

So price of gold was up, big way.
Seventy dollars in one day.
And what this means, it’s not a joke,
The country it is going broke.

They’re stealing. Yes, they rob you blind.
And most of you don’t seem to mind.
The two big thieves McCain, Barrack.
You’ll vote for one; that is a fact.

And all the people act like sheep.
The dough they’ve earned they cannot keep.
Yes oft this story I have told.
And that is why I’m back in gold.

Vacation Elation

11 days intensity,
11 days of fun.
7 ways of expressing
How love was welcome.

Little girls and teenagers,
3 girls and a boy;
Little puppy loving pure
Filled our world with joy.

Barbara, Thomas, and Jan,
Lisa, Katjia;
With Nina and Daisy fun.
Weeping for Mona.

Breakfast on the "Beau Terrace."
Hiking at the sea
While I buried Mona at last
By Maggie & Jessie;

Underneath beautiful trees,
Underneath a heart
Made of stones so love can see
The Wonder that they were.

A week quite miraculous
That filled up my life
To see Light of miracles
That still come sometimes
When I feel sunshine
Of warm care of mine
Shared with loved-ones fine.

Missing Maggie

She is gone. She's sleeping now.
It's so wrong but right somehow.
No more suffering the arrows of age.
No more wondering when death steals loved Sage.

I'm too numb to really, really feel my pain,
And too dumb to not feel her killing again.
Had to make decision to put out of misery.
Had to be awake to stop her failed, falling body.

Now she's also sleeping next to her loved friend, Jessie.
For me, I'm weeping for my loves lost and their blessing.
It's too big to really grasp enormity of all.
I must dig to feel at last feelings that sleep in Paul.

Like her grave I dug to join my loves eternally,
I must save my love enough to stay in love with me.
Try to see myself through the kind eyes of Maggie dear,
Then to be the self whose kind that Maggie loved to hear.
When then can we pass through Hell and find some love to cheer?
Be a friend like Maggie who held Love's Wisdom so clear.

Music's title and musicians unknown.

The 40 or so photos and their order were magically chosen from many hundreds of photos of Maggie by the random selection of the screen saver, as I could certainly not in my grief bear to choose artistically or otherwise which photos and when or how to use them. Surprisingly, so many photos chosen were with her furry friends and only two with not-so-furry (human) friends. For me, the result was a miracle as it so well described beloved Maggie and her loving nature, her beautiful Spirit and all her dear relationships. I miss her so.

This video directly brought our new puppy, Daisy, into our lives as her rescuer, Linda, saw and was touched by "Missing Maggie" and our story when we met on the TGV train. Linda gently convinced us to take Daisy even as we thought it was far too soon only 3 weeks after Maggie's death.

"Light of Love" - Meaning to Me

"Light of Love" - Meaning to Me
by Loveson G. Flower

Above is part of "Light of Love"
To say enough what heart Art shoved
And illustrate my meaning of
a Man's Whole evolving Way of Love.

How does my Spirit here evolve?
How can I fly and fear resolve?
Like after-death experience,
Try project Art to be Love's dance.

To make it ever more a part
Of what my Spirit would impart
To those I love and have loved me,
To close the loop eternally.

For Wholeness is more than a word,
More than expressed, More than we heard
When we set out upon journey
Then free - to be or not to be.

Here we use the climatic, 8-minute part of 10 chapters of the 70-minute, animated Ballet, "Light of Love," completed in September, 2005 and given then to friends and family. Buy Gold by Howard Katz

Poem
By Howard Katz

The time has come; it is our fate
To welcome in 2008.
This is the year, below I prove,
When gold mine stocks do make their move.

2005, year-end got hot.
Gold mining stocks moved up a lot.
And gold investors got their kicks
In first 4 months, 2006.

2007, things got warm.
A giant triangle did form.
On Labor Day, this is no joke,
Then out that triangle it broke.

As New Year's holiday comes neigh,
We find that gold is very high.
To tell you this it does behoove,
Gold mining stocks will make their move.

Cause word is out around the town.
The U.S. dollar's going down.
Just like the bad old days of yore,
Bernanke makes the people poor.

Important message of this poem:
You can't afford to own your home
Unless you're taking action bold
And buying mining stocks of gold.

Life Lived as One

If I would fall in love,
Would the sky be enough?
Would all the moon and stars
Bring Paul's sufficient care?

If living is an action,
What gift is my reaction?
To the darkness there
When too little care;

My hurt kids inside,
Too burnt to ever cry,
To feel all the pain,
Still realing from shame;

Do somehow object
To love's foul subjects.
Pointing out the flaws
Of new loves because

They are broken too.
Like awoken fool
Who now understands
The cruel unloved lands

That we all came from
When we sought the Sun.
But we found shadow;
Not abundance shown

Of the Light of Love
With night's darkness stuff.
Our trees were twisted
From being's blister.

And our shadow kids,
Even though they're hid,
Come on out to play
In own cruel, cute way.

When they see new threat
Like when were begot,
When they were then born
From our fear, forlorn.

What do we try to say?
Please Spirit cry today
And explain our Truth
Of Love's rain pursuit.

Is it still possible
To now feel lovable?
To then become as One
With friend, loved someone?

Do we've enough courage
To be love past the rage;
And hold on real tight
Through cold, killing fright?

Which brings the kids out.
Them singing with shouts,
Their songs of dispair
Of wrongs when love dared.

They feel like before,
Before killed in wars.
When became a corpse,
Shamed beyond remorse.

How can we all say yes?
Inner family of Paul bless
A new love affair,
And let in love there?

If we let all speak,
Won't ugly ones tweak
And destroy the hope
Of boy by being dope?

Please love's inspiration,
Don't tease by your Vision;
And not stay to make
A clear way to say

What the Light could be
If our Sight could See.
That the Love could grow
Enough to then know

That a man and wife
Understanding might
Really become Whole;
Feeling Loving's know.

And the practical
Differences shall
Soon be washed away
If we attach ways.

If would become Team
Which would let being
Have a greater goal
Than individual,

With Life lived as One,
A Wife and Husband,
No longer then two
Discordant songs fool;

With Love's resonance
and Love's loving dance;
Love's Music to hear;
Love's beauty to cheer.

To inspire more
The desire for
A world wonderful.
Where her Wonder's full.

Where she's so happy;
There's no need to be
Depressed from the pain
Of childhood's cruel shame.

Time to go and say
I'm whole enough today,
And I deserve to Love
Unreserved enough.

That bonfire burns
And inspire churns
Past the past darkness
To at last Love's bless.
Pulled by Love's witness,
Held each child confessed,
With no wild child's death.
Whole inner family's blessed.

Becoming Maggie

My little puppy, Maggie dear,
Can't seem to leave. She does stay here.
She doesn't die, although she's old.
I wonder why? She love's me so.

Is it because, she needs to see
That her loved Paul OK will be?
She must hold on to help him know
His love is strong, then she can go?

It makes me cry, this fantasy.
After she dies when I'm missing;
Have then I learned the Truth of Love,
Or be so burned no Truth's enough?

To lose someone who's so loyal,
Whose loving sum's beyond royal;
Does seem a cross I cannot bear;
A bitter loss nothing repairs.

Unless somehow I find within,
Her love is now my shining kin.
I become her to never lose -
Blended we are. No love refuse.

And I can then go on with life
Without my friend, through every strife;
Because she's here. She'll never leave.
Inside my tears. Inside my grief.

Inside my efforts to be whole.
I'll cry. I'll comfort those I know.
I'll be my Maggie every day.
My tail I'm wagging to then say:

You're worthy. Yes, really you are.
You're worth I'm feeling. You're a star.
You can shine bright like the Sun.
You are kind. My friend, become.

Become whatever your Spirit shows.
Become creator. Let it go.
Become the Love seen through my eyes.
Then I can run through heaven's skies.

I'll run and play with Jessie then.
We'll wait for day when you come friend.
But don't forget to live and love.
Please don't regret what life does shove.

We've had so much time together.
Grieving's sad touch, stormy weather;
Will pass away. The Spring will be
And you can play and be happy.

And I can rest forever more.
It's for the best. Let Spirits soar;
And fly away to memory.
All Life's someway ephemory.

It cannot last. We can't hold on.
With tears and laughs we must be strong.
And hold the little ones who hurt then.
Who're cold and bitter, feel deserted.

It's Love that really never dies.
Our bodies plastic are love's ties.
They last awhile like forest leafs
But then like smiles they have to leave.

Please let me go. Please find a way
To become Whole, to shine, to say;
To write our Love, for all to know.
Our Light of Love, Maggie-Paul showed.

It hasn't died. It's not over
Though I do lie in field clover.
It will exist forever more.
Please feel my kiss, my Love adored.
You will find bliss past Love's horror.
Please feel Mind-Body-Heart Love more.
