Over the Rainbow

I hear the birds chirping.
I saw the rainbow arching.
I feel my body dying, aching.
I see my life undoing.

When will I become?
How can I find the will?
Where do I throw my time?
Why am I so lost and alone?

Have I lost my way, my art, my music
my soul, my motivation?
Who shall I follow? My thoughts?
My urges? My greed? My lust?
Or can my soul - my butterfly
self - be set free?
To fly through the sky, the heavens,
and over the rainbow?

Please help me fly away ... to be.
